Spina, a charming Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, has quickly established itself as a must-visit destination for food lovers. Located at 3193 Glendale Blvd, this cozy restaurant offers a delightful menu that emphasizes handmade pasta and expertly crafted traditional dishes.
Reviews from patrons echo a singular theme—exceptional quality and flavor. One visitor, Cecilia, described their experience with the octopus starter and Ravioli Verdi di Spinaci e Ricotta as an "outstanding" culinary journey. Her enthusiasm was matched by others, including Chuck, who expressed a need to return every time he visits LA. The pasta is often praised for its perfect al dente texture, while the extensive wine list complements the dishes beautifully.
Furthermore, dessert is not to be overlooked; diners rave about the panna cotta and crème brûlée, consistently surprising and delighting guests. Several reviews highlight the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff, making each visit feel personal and special.
While Spina may be small and often busy, it is the warmth, skill, and passion infused into every plate that truly sets it apart. Don't miss your chance to experience this culinary gem—arrive early to savor the full flavor of Italy right in Los Angeles.

ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AMAZING CUISINE I HAVE HAD IN LOS ANGELES .. or anywhere I been lately for that matter COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEFS ... . I’m SOOOO IN LOVE with this place I am mad I don’t live in LA ..I’m from Vancouver CANADA .. visiting LA for the first time , Let me tell you . I had the octopus ( that was off a side menu that might have been their daily specials ) as a starter and I ate it soooo slowly cus I was in HEAVEN with every single bite I took .. I didn’t want to finish it but couldn’t wait to take another bite .. the flavours were so amazing and cooked to perfection. Next up I had the Ravioli Verdi di Spinaci e Ricotta and omg again... OUTSTANDING cooked Al dente as I love it and although I was full after that.. I stayed and gave myself some time to digest my food cus I wasn’t leaving without having the creme brulee .. and I’m glad I did cus it was phenomenal . I wanted to try everything on the menu .. Andrea is a culinary GENIUS . Shoutouts to Pablo ,Sara for being so welcoming and the rest of the amazing staff . I can’t wait to eat here again .. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE .. Thank me later With love Cecilia

Tiny Italian pasta bar serving up yummy handmade pasta with an extensive wine list. Packed little place but cozy vibes. The dessert panna cotta was surprisingly bomb. Be sure to get there before dinner time otherwise you might be in for a long wait.

I came here because of the Red Dining Book and oh my gosh everything was good so good! My mind was blown! I got seated at the bar right next to where the food came out. I got to look at all the dishes and it made me want to work there hahah. Come try them you won’t regret it!

Excited to finally eat here! We showed up at 5 pm Tuesday, sharp and were first to sit down. The whole place was basically full when we left an hour later. I would say get there before 530 to be assured of sitting down immediately. It's a small space so if you are big or like to live large and spread out try to get a table outside. All our food was really good and came out promptly. Dinner for three with drinks was 200 bucks including tip. Fun crowd. Would go back for sure. Reminded me of actually eating in Italy, familiar dishes done really well with friendly, professional service.

Awesome little neighborhood gem. The food was excellent, and so was the service. Andrea, the owner, is a well known and experienced sommelier and his wine list is pretty extensive. We will be going back for sure. Perfect for couples ( 1 or 2) , but not for large groups.

Great food. Meatballs & rigatoni were sublime. I’ve never had better meatballs. Great wine selection too!

I NEVER leave reviews and I also basically refuse to go to Italian restaurants outside of Italy anymore. This food made me cry and is so exceptional. I went two nights in a row. Also should mention I make homemade pasta very regularly and am never impressed. Blown away and so excited for this restaurant!!
